The main ferry port in Jersey is located at St Helier Harbour. Originally known as Havre Neuf, the modern harbour of St Helier was probably built around 1700. However, the area itself acted as a buffer and refuge from strong channel gales for trading ships long before this. The harbour is now operated and managed by the organisation Ports of Jersey.
Elizabeth Terminal is the one and only passenger terminal in Jersey. It is served by both Condor Ferries and Manches Iles Express. Condor Ferries offers routes between Jersey and Poole, Portsmouth, Guernsey and St. Malo, Brittany. Manches Iles Express operates routes between Jersey and Guernsey, Poole, Portsmouth, Granville, Carteret, St Malo and Sark.
To reach the ferry port by car, at Route De La Liberation roundabout take the second exit onto La Route De Port Elizabeth. From here, follow signs to the ferry port. There is short and long-stay car parking as well as a Vehicle Check In point.
To get there by bus, the nearest bus stop is in St Helier which is about a 10-minute walk away from the terminal. The Liberty Bus website has more information about bus timetables to and from the port.
