Are pets allowed on board?

Guide dogs are allowed to travel in the lounges and cabins, but they must be declared at the time of booking. For standard pets, you must book a kennel in advance. Kennels cost £15 per single journey.

Luggage for foot passengers

Foot passengers are allowed 1 item of hand luggage on board. Any additional luggage must be checked in, and can be picked up at the ferry terminal on arrival.

Luggage for car passengers

Like foot passengers, car passengers are required to only take 1 item of hand luggage per person on board. All additional luggage must be left in the car.

Can I park my car at Belfast port?

If you are taking a short trip and aren’t bringing your car long on the ferry to explore Ireland further, you can park at the 300 capacity car park outside the terminal. Prices start at £1.20 for up to an hour, 8-24 hour prices cost £9, and you can buy a weekly pass from £40.

Can I park my car at Liverpool port?

Liverpool Port (Birkenhead) has a large car park in front of the ferry terminal. 1 day passes cost £8 and prices rise each day. 7 day passes cost £48.
